An excerpt from Clickthecity.com:
"Set in two contrasting environments that underline the same premise of imprisonment, Selda tells the story of Rommel, a young man who accidentally kills a boy, resulting in his incarceration. Inside the jail, he befriends another inmate, Esteban, who becomes his rock and protector. Seven years later, Rommel is living in the province as a farmer together with Sita, his wife. Esteban tracks down Rommel in hopes of renewing a brewing love affair. Rommel and Sita welcome Esteban into their lives until their intimacy crosses borderlines and results in the undeniable scourge of self-discovery."
Directed by Paolo Villaluna and Ellen Ramos

The special screening was held last December 23 at Robinson Galleria's IndieSine (regular screening is set tentatively for February 2008)...and I would have gotten a really cool souvenir of a ticket, only the guards at the entrance took everything...bummer
I've known about the film ever since shooting started, since my friend Abe was a camera caretaker for his friend's camera that was borrowed for the film, and I basically know some trivial stuff that went on and the pranks they did on Sid Lucero and the other actors (but mainly on Sid, I don't know why) and some other funny things that went on during the filming.
Basically I don't want to make kwento because some people out there might want to watch it, but me and my friends have dubbed it "Brookside Mountain" (since the latter parts were shot near Brookside Village in Cainta)...but take to heart, and I quote director Paolo Villaluna, okay sort of quote since I don't remember verbatim... "Minsan masarap manood ng pelikulang pag-iisipin ka"...
And I for one had to really think on what transpired on some scenes.
And from Michael de Mesa's character, Warden Ramos... "Wala ka sa impiyerno pero lahat ng demonyo nandito" WASAK!!!!
