I had dinner tonight with Janice over at Rob Metro East...she treated me at Greenwich Pizza Going home, whilst riding the ubiquitous pedicab, we went past Marlon's house, and their Dama de Noche plant was abloom with its pungent flowers...slowly permeating it's surroundings with its very distinct aroma...and I realized that, that pungent scent would be one of those quirky things I would miss about home... I think I'm part of a very small demographic who actually likes the smell of Dama de Noche...I guess I'm weird that way...I also like the scent of sampaguita and has been my dream that my mom plant some of those. Wednesday was spent with my fellow eksenadors...doing the remakes of Slow-Mo and LRT Chorale missions...I brought Ate Ly with me since I was going to spend the next 48 hrs at their place...Met up at Gateway Mall, we had breakfast at 11 in the morning, took to window shopping while waiting for the others to arrive... EM peeps started pouring in at 1 pm, made alot of noise, getting to know each other, ate ALOT of junk food (me mostly Blizzard, churros and fries from Ate Ly, Bleue and Ate Ly again) and then all we needed to do was wait for the KMJS team to arrive, and then we were transported to the Manila City Hall. It's the kind of excitement you get when you are about to do something potentially law-breaking and you don't give a damn, and a bit apprehensive because it IS somewhat law-breaking (the NO CAMERA rule for all metro rail lines), and because singing has never been something I am known for.
